South Korean Researchers Develop User-Friendly, 3D Printing Tech

The electronics and telecommunications institute says that they have developed a handheld 3 dimensional scanner that can get the data that will be used in 3D printing. This could lead to new applications for the general public. Also it could be easy to use for people that don't know how to work technology that well. You first scan the object putting it on the computer and "printing" out in 3D. The technology relies on how you design it by putting in the height, width, attributes and the durablity and the stability. BY making the apps for the phone they are tying to make 3D printing a everyday source.
